The New Website
- This new fantastic website has been especially designed with both the Youth
Service, and of course the Children's Service in mind. Updated weekly, this user
friendly, interactive website was launched on 14th May 2010. The website will
continue to grow and flourish with new content and advanced features to come
with the future in mind. If you have any suggestions or feedback about this
website, please feel free to leave them on the "Feedback" page.
Have you heard?
- The youth have now formed their own Facebook group. Why not join, keep in touch with all your friends by clicking here and joining the group.
Football
- The Youth Service are forming five aside and eleven aside football teams. We will be challenging other local Synagogues' youth services as well as Synagogues from all over London. We will be arranging practice sessions at Wanstead Leisure Centre where you will be able to show off all your football skills and join the winning team (we hope). If interested sign up by contacting Simon Stern on the "Contact Us" page at the top of the website.
Tribe UK
- Have a Tribe Membership Card? If not, why not? This card is completely free!!! All you need to do is fill in the Tribe online application form and within a matter of days your will receive you card. The Tribe membership card will entitle you to discounts at restaurants and shops all over England, as well as Tribe sponsored events throughout the year. We are fortunate enough to have our own Tribe representative, Andrew Goldman. Andrew will keep you informed of all these events and other benefits of having a Tribe membership card.
Bar/Bat Mitzvah Sedra
- Is your Bar or Bat Mitzvah Sedra approaching? Any girls wishing to re-perform their Bat Mitzvah D`Var Torah are welcome to do so in the Youth and Children's Services. Any boys wishing to Layne their Bar Mitzvah Maftir and Haftorah are also welcome to do so in the Youth Service or even main Synagogue. Should you need any help please do not hesitate to ask the service leaders.
Bar Mitzvah Lessons
- Ilford United Synagogue are offering Bar Mitzvah lessons to anyone needing help in learning their Parsha. Our Chazan David Rome is both young and energetic and also has great rapport with all his pupils. To contact him use the "Contact Us" page at the top of this website.
Bat Mitzvah Lessons
- Any girls in need of help with their Bat Mitzvah D`Var Torah project and Bat Mitzvah lessons please contact the Synagogue Office by using the "Contact Us" page at the top of this website.
