Forth year running and this event was an even bigger success. There were over 275 people that attended, which made it the biggest event we ever organised.

This year we had a turnout of around one hundred children with a fantastic entertainer Mad Mikki, face painter and a fancy dress competition.

This was our third year that we ran this highly popular event to celebrate Lag B’Omer. It involved fireworks, sparklers, BBQ, bonfire, dancing and a professional DJ.

To celebrate Purim the Youth Service decided to go out one evening to play two games of Quasar. There was one team of blue and another orange with 30 on each. The blue team won both times.

At this party there was an entertainer from Jelly Tots and around 80 children from all over the Essex area who attended. There was loads of Nosh from sweets to ice cream and sandwiches.

The Children and Youth organised an evening with a film showing in the Synagogue's Mark Lewis Hall and a break with fish and chips + pizza in the Sukkah.

For the third year running we put together our annual Lag B`Omer Bonfire. This year we included loads more fireworks food and increased the limit of people we could have. We had around 250 people and a waiting list.

We organised a fantastic decorated hall with clowns, balloons and flags with a professional entertainer from Jelly Tots. Loads of Nosh was provided for the children and parents.

EMERGY put together a Masked Ball at Ilford United Synagogue’s Hall with a DJ and a non alcoholic bar. Jewish High School students from all over London attended and this event very successful.

This was the first year we organised a Simchat Torah party for the children that attend the Children Service on a regular basis. There was an entertainer, refreshments and a very well decorated hall.

This year we decided to move our venue to a larger camp site and open this event to the whole of the community, due to the success from previous year. This event was a complete sell out.

After the reading of the Megillah the children were all invited to the Synagogue’s hall to have the Purim party they deserved. A Jelly Tots entertainer was also there to liven up the party.

Tribe UK arranged for all the Youth that regularly attend the Youth Service at Ilford United Synagogue to go bowling during the half term at Ten Pin Bowling in Romford.

As most of the youth were keen to see a film that had just been released on DVD, a few days ago, we decided to host a film night with that film, popcorn and food in celebration of Chanukah.

For the first time ever all the regular attendees of the Youth Service were taken out to Quasar one evening, to reward them for the attendance and support to the service.

All the parents including the children and youth of the services, were invited to our first time bonfire and BBQ we organised at a small camp site which also included some food and fireworks.
